Brighton Vintage

Saturday was beautiful and sunny, chilly but sunny; my favourite kind of weather. We could see the sea from our bed so were up early walking the beach before breakfast. Brighton looks a touch run-down in the rain but when the sun comes out, it is like a different town altogether.

We re-explored the lanes, some streets were closed for small street-markets and although tempted by the odd hat and jacket, we didn’t buy anything. And we didn’t find what we have long been keeping an eye out for, one of those folded metal toast-racks; weirdly had to find these days…
