Minus Eight

We have has snow a while in the South East but even Central London has snow now. Its not so much the amount of it that is causing problems, its because we don’t clear it before it turns to ice that makes life here very difficult. It was -8 degrees overnight last night in London and I think Cheltenham and Birmingham have had even more snow than us. Airports are all closed, trains are cancelled and we are starting to think that we might stay here for Christmas rather than risk the chaos. We’ll see.

There are a few other friends in London that might be stranded so we might just have drinks together and enjoy a White Christmas rather than get stressed trying to travel about. I took these pictures on the way home from work, at times like this, if you can’t stay home, you might as well find a nice warm pub to while away the evening with friends.
