It was a bit of a trek across town with the Northern line part suspended but good to see Camden high street completely packed and fully boarded-up shops trading as normal. We fought through the crowds to Chalk Farm, to the Roundhouse with no real preconceptions of what we were about to see.
I knew a little of Ron Arad’s Curtain Call but had deliberately avoided the details. The Roundhouse, a spectacular building and incredible music venue, has collaborated with the super-cool product designer to install a circular screen of clear PVC fibres onto which artists’ film are projected around the full 360 degrees.
We spent a good 2 hours sat inside, walking around and pushing through the curtain, happily watching the many ways different artists had chosen to use their opportunity and the different ways people interacted with the curtain itself.
