Dulwich Park Pop-Up Cinema

A British summer evening; not hot, but the rain held off and our picnic blanket was spread with home-cooked chicken, sandwiches, salad and scotch eggs, plus of course plenty of wine and beer. A pop-up, Nomad Cinema event had tempted us to Dulwich Park on Sunday night and we ate and drank with friends as the sun went down.

As it gradually got dark, the movie started, 80’s classic The Goonies. It was so much fun to drink and laugh into the night and a real treat to watch the film in the open air. Half way though the movie, the moon rose from behind the screen into the clear night sky. I think they are showing Amelie on a Thursday night soon so we may well go back again next time.

It was so nice to be snuggled up with friends, under the stars and all laughing out loud together with strangers.
    Amelie next!
