Spice Bazaar

The Grand Bazaar sells most things, but to find foods, spices and tea you need to head to the Spice Bazaar, a smaller, less complex covered market. It is a simple L-shape so actually much easier to navigate but the colours and smells make it possibly even more fascinating.

Again the Japanese bargaining team were on fine form; they headed deep into the market at speed with clear objectives. We came away with various wonderful flavours of tea, curry powder and honey, Atsuko also managed to get a special copper pot to make authentic turkish coffee.
