Airbus A380

I was so lucky to be given a tour of the Airbus A380 today; around and underneath, into business and first class and the spa and shower areas (!), we even saw the flight-deck. This aircraft is incredible in terms of size alone but also fascinating in the engineering and design detail.

Walking beneath the plane was the best part for me. As the plane was being turned around to head straight back out on a return journey, it was a rushed tour and I only have a few quick snaps that I can share…

Great to see the A380 so close, what a plane, I work for Airbus but not on the 380 though… so its good to see different areas up close.

  2. It was an incredible opportunity, I was amazed by the how mechanical and complex each component looks; from a distance it all seems simple and clean. Even the fuselage body amazed me, such a patchwork of riveted panels!

    • Thanks for the comment! I have been enjoying the process shots of your website, beautiful work and some amazing locations for your buildings.
